Future goals: We would like to be widely available on the UK market, both in the on- and off-trade.

Ask them about: The 9 wines on pour exclusively at the Wine & Spirits show, including indigenous grape varieties from Moldova.

Name: Wood Brothers

Company information: Founded in 2017 in Oxfordshire and created by brothers Ed and Charlie, the distillery was born when we combined our love for the land, as sixth generation family farmers, with the desire to diversify and start using our home grown products and stone granary barns to create single estate spirits. With Ed’s knowledge of the intricate processes involved, he was able to lead on the development and building of the distillery in 2017. The first spirits came off the still early in 2018. The ethos of the single estate spirit was, from first conception, vital for the Wood Brothers, ensuring that we have absolute control on the whole process from field to bottle.

What’s on pour: Wood Brothers’ Single Estate Gin, 70cl, 44% ABV and Wood Brothers’ Single Estate Vodka, 70cl, 40% ABV.

Name: Angus Dundee Distillers

Company information: Terry Hillman invested in whisky stocks 60 years ago and invented the company name. From there he and his family steadily grew the business, buying two distilleries, Tomintoul and Glencadam along the way.

Fun fact: We get to nose and sample whiskies every day to assess quality!

Proudest achievement: Owning two distilleries and a bottling and warehousing plant near Glasgow.

Future goals: Substantial growth in sales of our gin brand, Chelsea Royal.

Name: Whitehaven

Company information: Established in 1994 in the heart of the internationally renowned Marlborough region, Whitehaven is the realisation of the White family’s vision to create a respected and critically acclaimed winery.

On pour: Whitehaven Sauvignon Blanc, Marlborough, New Zealand, 2017

Name: Spanish Oak

Company information: Founded in 2016, Spanish Oak is one of the pioneering companies rejuvenating the Spanish brandy category.

Fun fact: We love to live the life and enjoy the Andalusian lifestyle on the ‘terrazzas’ and lounges under the sun after work, or sometimes during the work. This is what the taste of our Brandy is representing.

Proudest achievement: 99.9% success on international blind tasting events.

Future goals: To have our brandy represented well in 3 to 4 countries.

On pour: Spanish Oak Brandy – the first time it has been poured outside of Spain. Made from Pedro Ximenez wine and aged in used American Oak Sherry Barrels, it has a sweet aftertaste but contains no added sugar or caramel.
