Company background: The competition first began in 2012. Now in its sixth year, it helps both the wine trade and consumers alike choose among some of the best wines that this impressive French wine region has to offer. 634 wines from some 210 producers were narrowed down to just 100 during a rigorous blind tasting by a panel of leading industry experts, chaired by Tim Atkin MW.
Ask them about: The 14 coup de coeur wines which were considered the stand-out examples that the expert panel felt best expressed the characteristics of a certain theme, including a trophy for the best white, red, rosé.
