Who’s exhibiting at the Wine & Spirits Show 2020?

Beefsteak Club

Beefsteak won Drinks Business Consumer Campaign of the year in 2019 for its ‘Raise the Steaks’ initiative.

Owned by drinks group Ehrmanns, Beefsteak Club was named to honour the London dining clubs of the 18th and 19th century, which celebrated the beefsteak as a symbol of liberty and prosperity. The ever-growing range, which has found favour with red wine lovers in the UK as well as a further 29 international markets, now includes wines from Argentina, Australia, France, South Africa and Spain.

It’s a big opportunity for Beefsteak, as the brand will launch its Reserve Organic Tannat, made from grapes grown in the Cafayate Valley in Salta, at the show. Aside from this, you will get a chance to try the full range of Beefsteak Club wines, including Malbecs from Argentina, France and South Africa, a Spanish Tempranillo and Australian Shiraz.

And if you needed even more reason to head to the stand, the Beefsteak Club team will be handing out straw sun hats for free to anyone who follows the brand on social media.

Zonin1821

Stefano Ferrante, head winemaker of Zonin1821

The Zonin family has been producing wines in their ancestral home of Gambellara in the province of Vicenza since 1821. Today, three brothers represent the seventh generation of the company’s history: Domenico Zonin, the company’s president, and vice presidents Francesco Zonin and Michele Zonin.

Zonin1821 currently owns 12 estates in seven Italian regions that are particularly suited for the production of premium wines: Friuli, Veneto, Lombardy, Piedmont, Tuscany, Apulia and Sicily. The family have also ventured across the Atlantic and own an estate in Virginia, USA, and in Chile.

The historic Italian wine giant will descend on our Wine & Spirits Show next month to bring trade and consumers alike a glimpse into their world. Guests can sample Zonin’s Proseccos from Veneto and Valdobbiadene, including a recently launched organic expression, Chilean wines from sparkling made in the Casablanca Valley, to its Dos Almas, Red Blend Gran Reserva from Maipo.

And when you finally succumb to nose fatigue, you can head to our dedicated G&T bar for a complimentary serve, included with the price of the ticket.

The Wine & Spirits Show will open at 2pm until 8pm on Friday 3 April. On Saturday 4 April, the show will be held from 1pm until 7pm. Tickets are available here.

We will host a trade session for professionals in the wine and spirits industry from 2-5pm on Friday 3 April, but the rest of WSS is open to consumers.

For more information on how to exhibit, or to showcase your products on the G&T Bar or The New Product Zone, contact Sophie Allan on [email protected].
