'In victory, we deserve Champagne. And in defeat, we need it.' The first of three venues offering artisan, well-raised cheeses, charcuterie from Corsica and some very fine puddings (try the pear tartelette filled with a Champagne crème patissière) arose at Covent Garden, and since expanded to Greenwich and the re-born Brixton Village.

Review 2016/17

‘In victory, we deserve Champagne. And in defeat, we need it.’ The first of three venues offering artisan, well-raised cheeses, charcuterie from Corsica and some very fine puddings (try the pear tartelette filled with a Champagne crème patissière) arose at Covent Garden, and since expanded to Greenwich and the re-born Brixton Village.

A concise list of 26 palate-rousing boutique and grower Champagnes is offered within the cosy, Scout tent-green walls, adhering to the venue’s mantra, that ‘our independent producers make Champagne with passion and exuberance, with traditional manufacturing methods rather than mass-produced on a large scale and the proof is in the tasting’.

Cheers!
