Wine-focused restaurant chain 28°-50° is to open a new wine workshop and kitchen on the King’s Road in London’s affluent Chelsea district this spring.

Scottish chef Adam Handling is to add another site to his London restaurant empire, unveiling plans for a restaurant and Champagne bar on the King’s Road that aims to make zero-waste “luxurious”.

The head chef of Michelin-starred Indian restaurant Kahani in Chelsea will join forces with wine specialists Bordeaux Wines Editions for an exclusive dinner event later this month called SUP-PER CLUB.

Adam Handling Chelsea, the chef’s newly opened Sloane Square restaurant, has created a new lunch menu, offering a lighter alternative to the renowned tasting menu at a lower price.

Founded in 1964 by theatre agent Daphne Rye, Chelsea-based Italian restaurant Daphne’s is marking 55 years with a series of special events, collaborations and one-off dishes.

Following a nine-month renovation, Chelsea’s No. Fifty Cheyne will open under new head chef Iain Smith, offering “contemporary British cuisine centred around an open grill”.
