Digital edition of Wine List Confidential 2020 launches

We are delighted to launch the digital edition of this year’s Wine List Confidential guide, profiling London’s top 100 wine-focused eateries you need to visit when restrictions are lifted.

The release comes mid-way through a second lockdown for London’s restaurants, and at the end of one of the hospitality industry’s most challenging years in living memory.

The 100 restaurants, clubs and pubs featured in this year’s guide have proved that with diligence, perseverance, ingenuity, and of course, an excellent wine list, they can survive in the most challenging of conditions.

Once again, the author of this year’s guide is journalist and columnist Douglas Blyde. Venues are ranked out of 100 according to the size, range, value and originality of the list, as well as the overall dining experience.

In addition to the top 100, we have profiled the top 20 UK wine merchants, rounded up the top on-trade trends, taken a closer look at English wine served in restaurants and spoken to Jonny Lake and Isa Bal MS of London Bridge newcomer Trivet.

You can purchase the guide via this link. The 2020 edition will also shortly be available free of charge to digital and print subscribers of the drinks business and will be posted in the ‘reports’ section of the website. The digital edition will retail for £10.
