Wild Honey set to reopen on new site in St James’s

Following the restaurant’s closure last month, chef Anthony Demetre will reopen Wild Honey on St James’s Pall Mall in London next month.

Wild Honey in Mayfair, which held a Michelin star between 2008 and 2016, closed its doors last month following twelve years in business.

The new restaurant will be located within the Sofitel St James’s hotel, on the site formerly occupied by The Balcon restaurant.

Maintaining a French focus, Demetre has worked with head chef Simon Woodrow to revise the menu as well as the style of the restaurant.

The menu is set to include dishes such as warm smoked eel and rillettes; traditional bouillabaisse; slow-cooked and crisp tripe with sweet spice, fried egg and raw cream; roast saddle of rabbit with slow-cooked shoulder cottage pie; tarte Tropezienne; classic English custard tart; and London wild honey ice cream.

The wine list will feature around 100 bins with four drinks available on tap, including one red and one white wine, a Vermouth and a craft beer.
