Contemporary Greek Fitzrovia-based restaurant Meraki will join forces with wine producer Alpha Estate to offer a ten-course tasting menu with wine pairing at a dinner event taking place this month.
Situated in the Florina region in the north-west of Greece, Alpha Estate is a renowned winery and vineyards founded in 1997 by viticulturist Makis Mavridis and chemist-oenologist, Angelos Latridis.
The dinner will include reception drinks followed by a ten-course tasting menu designed by Meraki’s chef patron Athinagoras Kostakos.
With the dishes designed to be shared, the menu is set to feature highlights such as octopus carpaccio; veal cheek ‘moussaka’; and orange honey syrup cake.
Each course will be paired with Alpha wines with honoured guest, owner and wine-maker Angelos Latridis attending the dinner.
Taking place on the 17 June and priced at £75 per person, further details can be found here.
