Wine List Confidential to print fully revised top 100 London restaurant guide

Wine List Confidential, the unique wine list rating service by the drinks business, is bringing out a fully revised guide featuring London’s top 100 restaurants for wine lovers.

Due to come out later this month, the publication features in-depth reviews of each restaurant’s wine offering, as well as scores on a 100-point scale for the value, extent, and scope of its list, along with the quality of the wine service.

Each entry also comes with a handy three-point summation of every restaurant’s defining features, under the title ‘best for’, making this guide a rapid reference tool, along with a detailed review service.

Along with the reviews, the latest Top 100 contains articles on the wine trends taking hold in London restaurants, as well as the best-selling labels and top-value wine regions in the capital’s fine dining scene, and an extensive look at the skills needed to match wine with meals.

The guide also features key personalities, bringing revealing information on sommelier’s pet hates, and most memorable customers, along with profiles of the winners in this year’s Wine List Confidential awards, which were announced at the London Wine Fair in May.

For the first time we also include Q&As on famous wine producers, including their tips on where they love to go out when visiting London, and why, under our ‘where winemakers dine’ series.

All this and more comes in the 200-page publication, which comes free for subscribers of the drinks business so sign up now to get your copy of the definitive guide to London’s best restaurants for wine lovers.

About Wine List Confidential

Wine List Confidential is a unique, transparent and straightforward way to connect wine lovers with restaurants.

Using a numeric rating system, WLC allows wine lovers to quickly compare the wine offer in restaurants, whatever the food and format.

Employing a simple 100-point scale, WLC scores restaurants on all aspects of their wine offering – from pricing and service, to the range, size and originality of the selection – which is then used to create an overall score for every restaurant reviewed.
