Raymond Blanc protégé Ollie Dabbous' delicate and artfully-plated dishes need a sensitive foil and for the most part the list here is up to the task. Well balanced with some great picks from Burgundy, Italy and lesser seen wineries from the US, served with tongue-in-cheek jokes about cheese by ballet dancer turned sommelier Charles Pashby Taylor.

Review 2016/17
Raymond Blanc protégé Ollie Dabbous’ delicate and artfully-plated dishes need a sensitive foil and for the most part the list here is up to the task. Well balanced with some great picks from Burgundy, Italy and lesser seen wineries from the US, served with tongue-in-cheek jokes about cheese by ballet dancer turned sommelier Charles Pashby Taylor. Of nearly 20 wines by the glass, we loved the Marsanne from Leeuwenkuil in Swartland, South Africa, and Tête-a-Tête by Domaine de la Terre Rouge (California). Both worked, in their own way, with rabbit pie from the set lunch menu, brightening up an otherwise rather loud and industrial room, designed by the same mind that conceived of the All Saints clothing stores.
