Cartizze
Last but not least we have chic Prosecco pleasure dome Cartizze, nestled within Mews of Mayfair in Lancaster Court, which is all sumptuous oak paneling, marble fireplaces and tasteful blue and lilac leather bar stools.
Mixologist of the moment, Rich Woods, is behind the cocktails, which aim to elevate Prosecco to new heights in cocktails like the Amor y Amargo, a bittersweet marriage of Prosecco with artichoke bitters Cynar, Amaretto, apricot liqueur, lemon, egg white and vanilla sugar.
We like the sound of the Olive Oil Gin Fizz and the Liquorice Sour. Woods also riffs on classics like the Bellini and Spritz with his signature swagger.
The bar is named after the sacred hill in Valdobbiadene where the most prized Prosecco is nurtured and vines cost upwards of €1.8m per hectare.
