Love is in the air at London’s sky high rooftop restaurant Madison this Valentine’s Day. And what could be more romantic that views of London’s iconic skyline as the evening’s backdrop?

Madison has a three-course dining experience on offer for a night of romance. Starters include Lake District beef carpaccio with winter truffle, parmesan and rocket; Margarita lobster taco with tequila dressing and chipotle butter; Puglian burrata with beets, chicory and lovage pesto.

For main course there’s something to suit all tastes with a 52 oz Tomahawk steak with a whole lobster to share; Saffron Risotto with grilled vegetables, lemon oil and pecorino; Miso baked fillet of stone bass with XO sauce, scallop and prawn spring roll, sticky coconut rice or Beetroot and Mushroom Wellington.

The evening doesn’t end there, with a dessert menu not to be missed. There’s a choice from: Raspberry and vanilla mousse heart, Champagne poached rhubarb, candy floss; Pornstar martini sphere, passion fruit mousse, red velvet, Prosecco or Chocolate crémeux, Valrhona milk chocolate truffles, strawberry and honeycomb to name but a few.

Throughout the evening a live acoustic duo will be playing to set the mood for an evening of romantic entertainment.

Coya

Coya London is inviting lovers and friends to indulge in a ‘scentsual’ four-course Peruvian style menu this Valentine’s Day in partnership with British luxury fragrance brand, Thameen.

A sample of Thameen’s scent Peregrina is available to guests who dine and order from the Valentine’s Day menu at both Coya City and Mayfair.

Coya’s mixologists have created a cocktail taking inspiration from the fragrance Insignia from Thameen’s sovereign collection. Named the Alma Preciosa, meaning precious soul, the cocktail contains citrus, floral, woody and aromatic flavour notes. Priced at £18, Alma Preciosa has been described by its makers as a “timeless, elegant and grandeur concoction”, much like the scent itself.

Oblix at The Shard

This Valentine’s Day, Oblix at the Shard will be offering three limited edition menus set against views spanning across the city from the 32rd floor of The Shard. The ultimate romantic setting, guests can celebrate Valentine’s Day in either Oblix West or Oblix East with delicious set menus as well as a special cocktail and dessert to mark the occasion.

Langan’s Brasserie

Savour a welcome aperitif, from a selection of individually priced Champagnes or English Sparking by the glass, while perusing the three-course set menu for £125 per guest. Guests can also choose to add 30g of King’s Platinum Caviar, served with blinis & crème fraiche for an additional £72.

Singer Emma Tolpolski will be performing alongside Langan’s Brasserie’s house band, supplying a romantic soundtrack to the meal.

Langan’s has also partnered with florist Blooming Haus to create floral bouquets and single roses available to pre-order and be presented on arrival or to purchase on the night.

Quaglino’s

Quaglino’s is offering an evening of classic romance this Valentine’s Day, with food, cocktails and a lineup of music in the heart of St James’.

Following the amuse bouche, the restaurant is offering a three-course set menu (£165 per person). Diners can choose from the focaccia fried oysters and the confit duck ballotine for their sensual starters. For the main event, Quaglino’s is presenting dishes including a whole native grilled lobster (seafood linguine, Avruga caviar) and the mighty beef filet rossini (pan fried duck liver, sauce jus gras, black truffle). To finish, special themed desserts include the ‘Gamble on love’ and the ‘Key to my heart’ (pink gin & rhubarb).

More than just a food offering, Quaglino’s has lined up an evening of live music including a performance by grammy-nominated and multi platinum Irish singer-songwriter RuthAnne best known for writing pop songs for Britney Spears, Niall Horan and the Fifty Shades Darker soundtrack.
