The one-off dinner will feature a number of wines from the acclaimed Sussex sparkling producer and historic Bordeaux estate, including Rathfinny’s recently-released 2018 vintage and, with dessert, the 2015 Secret de Château Biac from Cadillac AOC.

The full menu, with pairings, showcases British ingredients and classical French technique:

Tartare de Maigre, Anguille Fumée et Piment Rouge
Stone Bass & Smoked Eel Tartare, Crispy Red Chilli & Citrus

Rathfinny Blanc de Blancs 2018

Lobster & Langoustine in a light Beurre Blanc Sauce

Rathfinny Blanc de Noirs 2018

&

Felicie de Biac 2020

Agneau de Lait Rôti, Pommes de Terre, Ail et Petits Legumes
Roast milk fed Lamb, potatoes & confit garlic, lamb jus with thyme

Boule Meringuée, Rhubarbe, Mangue et Citron Vert

The Anglo-French angle of the dinner is fitting, given Kent-born Roux’s French heritage and mastery of Gallic cuisine.

Tickets for the exclusive event, including wine, service and VAT, cost £250 per person. For larger groups of six, seven or eight people, they are £220 per person. To find out more, click here.
