The 50 best bars in the world in 2021

A familiar face in London’s Mayfair picked up the highly coveted title of the world’s best bar for 2021, with another London bar coming in second place. Three bars in New York City also made the top 50 – here’s the list in full.

The best bars in the world - The Connaught Bar

Yes, for the second year in a row, The Connaught Bar inside The Connaught Hotel in London’s Mayfair has been crowned the best bar in the world by The World’s 50 Best Bars.

And London is definitely the place to grab a cocktail right now, with Tayēr + Elementary (located close to Old Street’s Silicone Roundabout) coming in second place on the prestigious rankings.

The World’s 50 Best Bars is a prestigious annual list that celebrates the international drinks industry. It is owned by William Reed Business Media, which also organises The World’s 50 Best Restaurants.

Katana Kitten in New York City placed 10th on the list, while Singapore boasted a highly impressive six bars in the top 50, with Jigger & Pony highest at number nine.
