Fever-Tree & Diageo takeover Bar 31 at The Shard

Fever-Tree has joined forces with Diageo to takeover The Shard’s Bar 31 this winter with a collection of highball cocktails available.

The bar, at the base of Shangri-La The Shard, opened on Wednesday and will continue to serve the highball collection throughout the festive period and until the new year. The two brands will unite on the open-air terrace with its alfresco bar and lounge (complete with picnic benches and soft blankets).

Julien Casanova, director of bars at Shangri-La The Shard, London, said: “We are delighted to unveil our Bar 31 terrace transformation to a cosy winter hideaway this year in partnership with Johnnie Walker and Fever-Tree. Located on the ground floor of the Shard and on the doorstep of London Bridge station, we look forward to welcoming both locals and visitors to our terrace at Bar 31 to warm up and celebrate this festive season.”

Craig Watt, senior brand manager for Johnnie Walker, said: “The festive season is upon us, and Bar 31 presents not only a cosy terrace setting but also the delicious opportunity to get together with friends and family to try the sweet spice and smoke of Johnnie Walker Black Label, paired perfectly with Fever-Tree premium mixers”

The full Bar 31 Highball Collection consists of:

Johnnie & Lemonade (50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label, paired with Fever-Tree Lemonade)

Johnnie & White Grape Highball (50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label, paired with Fever-Tree White Grape & Apricot Soda)

Johnnie & Ginger (50ml Johnnie Walker Black Label, paired with Fever-Tree Ginger Ale)

Ketel One Vodka & Italian Blood Orange (50ml Ketel One vodka, paired with Fever-Tree Italian Blood Orange Soda)
