The Drinks Trust partners with Vagabond on hospitality wellness workshop

Industry charity The Drinks Trust has joined forces with wine bar Vagabond to offer a free workshop focusing on the wellness of hospitality workers.

The workshop, split into two sessions running from 10am to 4pm on Tuesday 31 January, is called ‘Hospitality Covered’ and will offer insight into how the financial, physical and mental wellbeing can be improved for those working in the sector.

In addition to talks and panels covering how to deal with burnout, there will be confidence coaching sessions and advice on nutrition. Along those lines, there will also be a nutritional bar serving snacks to complement no/low alcohol drinks.

A social media post from The Drinks Trust explained why the issue of wellness has become more pertinent than ever: “The last few years have impacted many of our drinks hospitality industry colleagues and have taken a toll on our physical and mental well-being. That is why there will be an opportunity for attendees to have a quick health MOT on the day.”

According to data from The Drinks Trust, in 2022 it assisted 4,594 people in the drinks hospitality industry, with the average beneficiary receiving £920.34 worth of support.

The event will be held at Vagabond Monument, on Gracechurch Street.

Those wishing to attend can sign up for free for either the 10am to 12.30pm session, or the 1.30pm to 4pm session. Up to 250 people will attend each session.

Tickets can be booked here.
